This is a busy time of year, with Progress Reports going out, the holidays lurking in the very near distance (two weeks!) and all of the pressures of our jobs pressing on all sides. What keeps you going during this chaotic time?
Last night, after hours of driving around from tree farm to tree farm, we finally decorated our Christmas tree. Watching Sidney's little face light up with joy as we turned on the lights is a scene that will get me through all the busyness this week. She is finally at an age where she really gets it and that makes all the difference this year. Having a two year old, who is experiencing all the joys of Christmas for the first time, helps me keep it all in perspective.
